Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using JobChariot, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Service Description

JobChariot is an AI-powered job discovery platform that aggregates job postings from public career sites and helps users find relevant opportunities through AI matching.

We do NOT employ users. We do NOT guarantee job outcomes. We do NOT communicate with hiring managers on your behalf.

3. Beta Status

JobChariot is in beta. The service is free for now. We may introduce paid tiers in the future with reasonable advance notice. Existing free users will not lose access to core features overnight.

4. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use JobChariot. By signing up, you confirm you are at least 18. Indian users are our primary audience; global users are welcome.

5. Account & Security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately at support@jobchariot.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload fake or fraudulent resumes.
  • Use JobChariot to spam-apply (clicking apply on hundreds of jobs without genuine interest).
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically download our data.
  • Interfere with our infrastructure (DDoS, exploiting bugs, etc.).
  • Misrepresent your identity or qualifications.
  • Use the service for anything other than personal job seeking.

7. Fair Use Limits

To keep the service fast and affordable for everyone:

  • 5 resume uploads per week.
  • 5 referral requests per day.
  • 3 resume tailoring operations per day.

These limits may change as we tune the service. We won't reduce them without notice to active users.

8. AI Matching Disclaimer

JobChariot uses AI (Anthropic Claude, Voyage AI) to match your resume with jobs. Match scores are AI-generated suggestions, NOT employment guarantees.

A high match score doesn't guarantee you'll be hired. A low score doesn't mean you shouldn't apply. Always use your own judgment.

9. Job Listings Disclaimer

Job postings shown on JobChariot are aggregated from public career sites. We make no representations about accuracy, current availability, salary ranges, or company practices. Always verify details on the original company site before applying.

10. Intellectual Property

  • You retain full ownership of your resume and any content you upload.
  • JobChariot retains ownership of the platform, design, code, AI models, and aggregated job database.
  • By uploading a resume, you grant JobChariot permission to process it for AI matching, tailoring, and serving you results — only for your own benefit, not for sharing with third parties.

11. Termination

  • You can delete your account anytime by emailing support@jobchariot.ai.
  • We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy schedule.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • JobChariot is provided "as is" during beta.
  • We are not liable for jobs you didn't get, time spent applying, salary outcomes, or actions of companies whose jobs we list.
  • Maximum liability is capped at fees you paid us (currently ₹0 during beta).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify JobChariot against claims arising from your misuse of the service, fraudulent applications, or breach of these Terms.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by Indian law.
  • Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
  • We prefer to resolve issues amicably first. Please email support@jobchariot.ai.

15. Modifications

  • We may update these Terms as the service evolves.
  • Material changes will be communicated via email.
  • Continued use after changes means acceptance.
